So, as they say, the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry… But I hope, in this case, they don’t. I have 2 block sheds out of my back garden. This makes things complicated and during the summer months (If you can call the couple weeks of warm weather we get in Ireland “Summer”), things get pretty warm quite fast… And they are anything but quiet! More details are coming, but essentially, I am planning on moving my main home lab servers, plus some new ones, to a shed out my back garden which will be (eventually) secured, properly water and weather proofed, and, hopefully, cooler than my main homelab setup.
